Stuff the Bus: School Supply Drive
Each year, Dawson County Family Connection provides over 500 backpacks filled with essential school supplies—completely free of charge—to local students before the school year begins. This initiative helps ensure every child starts school confident, prepared, and ready to succeed.
Here’s how you can help:
  • Shop from the Amazon Wishlist – Click here to purchase supplies that will be shipped directly to Family Connection. It’s quick and easy!  

  • Bring Supplies to COTA – Drop off your purchased items in the bin located in the church lobby.  Donations due by Sunday, July 20th.

  • Volunteer to Distribute Backpacks – Help hand out supplies to families on Wednesday, July 23rd. Sign up here to volunteer.
This is a wonderful way to tangibly love and serve our neighbors in Dawson County.

Men's Breakfast

Men, you are invited to join us Saturday, July 26th at 8AM.  We will gather together for Bible discussion, fellowship, and food. This is a great opportunity to connect with some of the men of COTA.  Sign up here.

Dawson County Family Fair
Join us for a fun community event hosted by Dawson County Family Connection! Families are invited to enjoy an evening filled with kid-friendly games and free food. Local organizations will have booths set up with fair-style games, and the night will end with an outdoor movie at dusk.
We need volunteers!
Help us run our booth by assisting kids with the game, handing out prizes, or chatting with parents about who we are. If you're willing to volunteer, please sign up here. Contact Jon Eric with any questions.
Baptism Opportunity

COTA will have a time of baptism on Sunday, August 17th.  If you are interested in being baptized, please register here and an elder will be in touch with more details.

COTA Women’s Book Club

Please join us to discuss the book None Like Him by Jen Wilkin on Monday, August 18th from 7:00-8:30 PM in the COTA Fellowship Hall.  Dessert will be provided.  Please read the book beforehand; the book can be ordered here.  If you have questions, please contact Beverly King.

ATTENTION COLLEGE AGE STUDENTS (including incoming freshman!)

You are invited to a College Fellowship hosted by Jon Eric & Cindy Woodward every Tuesday night in June & July from 7:00-9:00 PM.  Dinner will be included!  We will be looking at the book of James and having a great time together including some fun surprises each week.  Feel free to invite friends!
